For over 20 years, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS providers have been working on parallel, yet separate, paths. Women’s needs related to HIV and reproductive health care however, are often inextricably linked. In order to build the capacity of medical and social services providers to discuss HIV/AIDS and reproductive health issues with their patients, Choices implemented the Parallel Paths/Caminos Paralelos project in Memphis and then across Tennessee in Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. Based on the program’s success, Choices designed this online toolkit to help healthcare providers execute similar projects across the nation.
